Sports Belt made with 1 inch Lightweight Polypropylene webbing. Lightweight Polypropylene webbing has a breaking strength of 450 pounds with a thickness of 0.040 of an inch. Plastic cam buckles are not rated.Our Sports Belts are made with Lightweight Polypropylene webbing because it is the only material that will allow the plastic cam buckles to work properly. This makes it an excellent belt to wear in the outdoors and/or in wet conditions, because the polypropylene webbing has a low water absorption, and excellent UV protection. Then you add the plastic cam buckle that will not rust or corrode and what more could you ask for in a belt? I know, it is Airport safe as well! No more having to take your belt off to avoid the annoying "beeping" and "sir/ma'am, can you step over here please?"
