Rounded Metal Slides
Most straps today utilize plastic/nylon slides as adjusters. But, if you have an application that demands a metal slide, these are ideal. Strapworks' rounded metal slides are nickel plated and available in 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch and 2 inch sizes. Metal slides are most commonly used with belts, collars, rifle slings, shoulder straps, etc as a means of adjusting the length of webbing. For more information, please click on the RED technical specs tab above. We can also powder coat your rounded metal slides for a small additional charge. You can choose from 24 stock colors. There is no minimum on stock colors. You can also order from over 100 available colors. On custom colors there is a minimum of 150 pieces (you can combine different types of metal hardware to meet this requirement). Please keep in mind that powder coating can delay shipping your order, and that powder coating is only available with metal hardware. Also note, powder coating is not permanent. It will chip and deteriorate over time, especially in any "hard" use. We recommend you check out our anodized hardware selection for a more durable solution (in black). Please see the powder coating page and scroll down to the bottom of the page for more information on powdercoating and your rounded metal slides. For more information on how to use and measurements, please click on the technical specs tab. The webbing is attached to the center bar on the slide. Then the webbing is threaded through your ending hardware and threaded back through the slide going up and over the center bar, down through the other side of the slide out to your ending hardware on the other side of the strap.
